School Board voted unanimously to close Linden0 School and awarded a coi e tract to repair Ben Frankli * e School which was damaged by ' a bolt of lightning two monthsago.j The decision to close Linden r came on the recommendation1 of Dr. Joseph J. Pallone,2 superintendent, due to I decreased enrollment anddeterioration of the structure.I which was constructed in 1914 It contains eight classrooms and a gymnasium.As a result, Dr. Pallone said sixth grade pupils will be transferred from Linden to Jefferson School, one of four elementary buildings still in. 1 operation.
