Fred Tindol of Jasper, Texas, was one of the nine men,, wh6, with Trax-ler and Chapman, escaped the farm amid, gun fire July 8. Four of the nlno were recaptured, one killed and a guard was wounded. “Fred” was not wounded.Markham said the trio discussed tlelng him to a tree beforg letting him out near here, but finally de* elded they would be able to reach Tulsa before he would have an opportunity to call police. They kept him until nightfall because they feared to release him in daylight when it might havo interfered with their flight, he said.The three seized Markham and his car as posses of officers of four Corttral Oklahbma counties were closing . in on them.
