VPart at New Trinity Church July 23.t ______Laying of the corner stone of the new Trinity M. E. church at Wayne and Jefferson*sts on Sunday, July 23 will mark another important epoch in the oldest church organiza* tlon • in Sandusky. This organiza*tion was formed in 1826 and in 1828 it built the first church in this city.Elaborate ceremonies will attend the event which are scheduled to be held at 8:30 o'clock in the after* ^noon. The Kev. J. T. Smith of Norwalk, the district superintendent ■will preside and the Rev. Dr. Kerby of Elyria will deliver the address. It is expected that Truman R, Taylor one of the oldest Methodists in Sandusky and through whose generosity the purchase of the site was made possible, will formally lay the stone. It will be a large block of Bedford sandstone. On the Wayne*sV side will be inscribed, “Trinity M, E. Church** and on the Jefferson*st side “1826-1922.** 'The Rev. W. B. W. Seller will give a historical review of Methodism in Sandusky and a fine musical pro* gram will be given by the Trinity choir assisted by a double malequartet which will include the National quartet and a quartet redout*ly formed by Russell Dann.The first section of the edifice 3$ now well underway and: It is pec ted that the steel'•In plaoe and first floor laid before the corner stone which der the tower is laid.
