Couple wed 50 yearsWALDRON — In observance of their Golden Wedding anniversary, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Edmonson of Morenci and formerly of Hillsdale County, will be guests of honor at an open house Sunday, July 18, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Morenci Baptist Church, 13181 Sims Highway, Morenci. The event is being planned by the couple’s family.Mrs. Edmonson, the former Genevieve Greek, was born in Waldron and Mr. Edmonson in Terre Haute, Ind. They were married July16, 1932 in Hillsdale by the Rev. Grace Tanner.The Edmonsons have owned and operated Frank’s Body Shop in Morenci for the past 40 years.They have one son, Dean Edmonson of Phoenix, Ariz; three daughters, Mrs. Richard (Donelda) Ford of Morenci, Mrs. Donna Lou Schoonover of Adrian, and Mrs. Sam (Darolee) Riegsecker of Fayette, Ohio; 13 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.s--Social Spotlight-Kelley clan meets1 \ 1 ’ \ !
