Ludwig Staabs OfRemsen Observe Golden WeddingMr. and Mrs. Ludwig- Staab, residents of the Remsen community a half century, celebrated their golden wedding anniversary, Sunday, July 6, with open house and a famiiy reunion $t their farm home northeast of Remson. Robust and active, the elderly couple manage the farm and do much of the work.With the sharp blue eyes, erect stature, and medium build of a hardened army officer, Mi*. Staab belies his 76 years and is still “going strong. He' boastp. of owning and driving the first car in Remsen. He still drives cars today. Born in Bryan, Germany, September 23, 1864, . Mr. Staab first clerked in a store and then came to America, but returned to Germany to be married. Mrs.(Continued On Page 2)
