before His Honour Mr. A. B. Hen nie the action brought by Robert March against Josiah Douglas to re cover £ 79 5/6 being balance due on purchase money was called on.Mr. D. Fits Ritson of the firm of Messrs Samuel and Samuel appear ed for the plaintiff, while -the defendant was represented by Mr. E. R. D. Evans of the firm of Messrs Bicknell and Evans.His Honour, after hearing evidence, gave judgment for the plain tiff for £71 17/2 and cost and solicitors cost fixed at £ 11 14/6.Mr. Evans gave notice of appeal and on his application a stay of execution was granted.MR. BRAITHWAITE’S (OI RT. JBefore His Honour Mr. S. R.l Braithwaite in the Kingston Court yesterday the case of H. Brown against Lewis Spence to recover £1 12/9 being balance due for work done was taken.Mr. C. R. M, Orrett appeared for the plaintiff. The defendant a}) peared in person and made appiica tion for an adjournment informing the Court that his principal witness was sick.Mr. Orrett said he had no objection to an adjournment provid ing the costs were paid.The defendant was informed tiiat the cost would amount to 10/6.Spence eventually agreed that the case should be tried.After hearing evidence, His Hon our gave judgment for the amount claimed and cost and solicito* *scost fixed at £ 2 16/.The case of Motor Cycles and Cycle Supplies against S. Russell which was struck out recently wasre-instated.Mr. Neville N. Ashenheim of the firm of Messrs Milholland, Ashenheim and Stone appeared for the plaintiffs and Mr. Harold W.
