AnniversariesGeorge and Rosemary WenhamGeorge and Rosemary Wenham of 2095 E. Alder St. celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at a July 12,1997, reception in the Parish Hall at Assumption Catholic Church.The couple met through Rosemary’s sister, the late Dorothy Langer Wenham. who was dating George’s brother, Russell Wenham of Fort Athison. Wis. George and Rosemary and Russell and Dorothy were married during a double wedding ceremony on July 5, 1947, in Janesville, Wis. Rosemary’s maiden name is Langer.George Wenham served in the U.S. Navy- during World War II. Following his discharge, he graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. The couple moved to Walla Walla where Mr. Wenham established his practice. He is a member of the Chiropractic Society of Washington.Rosemary Wenham was employed at the Parker Pen company in Janesville prior to moving to Walla Walla. She was employed by Pacific Supply Co-op from 1954-57 and for the past 12 years has worked as an assistant in her husband's officeGEORGE ANDROSEMARY WENHAMThe Wenhams are members of Assumption Catholic Church.They have a daughter. Rita Win-egardner of West Richland; six sons, Dr. Theodore Wenham of Pasco, Carl Wrenham of Federal Way, Wash., Kenneth Wenham of Spokane. Ramon Wenham of Merced, Calif., Anthony Wenham of Walla Walla, and William Wenham of Kennewick; and four grandchildren, Anna Wenham of Merced. Peter and Shannon Winegardner. both of W'est Richland, and Justin Wenham of Kennewick.
