Albert Hoffer was elected grand monarch of Slngara Gfotto, Sandusky's Mystic Order of Veiled Prophets of the Enchanted Realm, at the first meeting of the organization Thursday night in the K. of P. Hall. Harold M. Harter of Toledo, grand monarch of the International .Grottoes, had charge of the institution of the Sandusky grotto and the initiation of 100 charter members.Other officers elected to serve with Grand Monarch Hoffer are Leo Kugei, chief justice; Charles Ebert, grand chamberlain; R, W. Worden, secretary and A, C. Wilhelm, treasurer. The new officers of the Grotto were installed by Grand Monarch Harter. if he Grotto is a Masonic Order, ohly Master Masons being accepted for members. 'Judge E. B. King, who was Initiated as a prophet to Sirifeara Grotto, delivered an excellent address. Judge Roy H. Williams, a member of the Cleveland Grotto, also pleased the large number by a short speech. The meeting place was crowded with new prophets of the Sandusky Grotto and many visitors from orders in cities surrounding Sandusky.The work under Grand Monarch Hnrter, the youngest man to ever hold the office of §rand monarch was impressive. Following the institution of the Grotto, a pleasing .program, including boxing matches, was enjoyed.
