BressonMurphy Wedd(ciilt;jliPerformed At St. John'sWhite gladioli and white asters formed altar decor Saturday in St. John’s Catholic Church when Miss Colleen Ann Murphy and James M. Bresson Jr. were wed. Frank Traserwas vocalist, accompanied by organist Mrs George Stevens.The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James J. Murphy, 860 S Sugar. Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs James Bresson Sr, 521 E.Third.Rev. Donald Heintschel heard the exchange of double ring vows.The bride was attired in a gown of silk organza featuring a scooped neckline. Bodice was trimmed with an embroidered design in flower motif decorated with seed pearls and sequins. Skirt repeated the flower motif on the bodice and was further enhanced by a train flowing from the waistline. Her nylon tulle veil was caught to a crown of seed pearls and sequins. She carried a prayer-! book topped with pink sensation roses and garlands of white feathered carnations and bridaland covered by a sheer veil of nylon tulle. She carried a cascade of light pink and white carnations.Bridesmaids were Mary McGuire, Marcy Hirsch,“j8“Murphy, bride's sister-in-law and Jean Traser, bride’s cousin. Their gowns were in powder blue.Kim Cavanaugh, groom’s cousin, was flower girl in a wMfce floor length gown with wide blue velvet ribbon belt tied in a front bow.William Bresson was beet man for his brother. Ushers were Robert Osborn, Mike Murphy, bride’s brother, Patrick Murpby, bride’s brother and Steve Hullinger.For greeting guests, the bride’s mother chose an aqua {two - piece cotton knit dress with matching accessories and a corsage of light pink feathered carnations. The groom’s mother selected a yellow and white jersey dress with white accessories.
