K.Malmin in a double-ring ceremonyperformed in a garden setting at thehome of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arville Nereng, at 7 p, m. Sunday, are continuing their studies.The bride, the former Dorothy Evangeline Nereng, will complete a three-year course at Luther Hospital school of nursing, Eau Glairy in September,The bridegroom who recently received his discharge from the U. S. marine air corps, will enroll at the University of Wisconsin in the fall. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. C.i Rongstad, Osseo.Miss Harriet Slcteland played the traditional wedding music, and accompanied Richard Tomter, cousin of the bride, who sang. The ceremony was performed beneath* an archway of white with baskets of flowers at either side.The bride who was given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of white sheer, fashioned with sweetheart neckline, shirred bodice, Chantilly lace inserts at the should-] ers and full skirt. The gown was designed and made by hand, by her;* aunt, Miss Hulda Nereng. Her veil which belonged to another aunt, was held in place by white rosebuds and her shower bouquet was made up of white and pink roses, delphinium, white gladioli and sweet peas.The maid of honor, Miss Phyllis Nereng, wore a white net gown fashioned with a high round neek-f line, fitted bodice and full skirt.. Net ruffles finished the drop-* shoulder line. She carried pink and ‘jyellow roses, orchids and white glad- ioli and gypsophelia. The bridesmaids, Miss Dorothy Rongstad, a sister of the bridegroom, and Mrs. Jewel Berge, wore net gowns. The former in aqua, carried Talisman roses and bouvardia. Mrs. Mrs. Berge wore dusty rose and carried pink and yellow roses, gypsophelia and delphinium. Headbands worn by the atendants matched their bouquets. The flower girl, Sandra Jean Enge-vold, cousin of the bride, was dressed ed white net, trimmed with bows of narrow pink ribbon. She carried a white basket made by the bride's sister, Mrs. Dale Schmudlach, Los Angeles, Calif., filled with rose petals.The best man was Howard Nelson, Osseo, and ushers were Roger Nereng and Jewel Berge.A reception for more than 100 relatives from Eau Claire, Osseo. La Crosse, Black River Falls and Whitehall followed. Rain prevented the guests from being served at tables on the lawn. They were served instead buffet style in the dining room. The wedding cake centered the table. It was flanked by tall candles In crystal candelabra and vases of garden flowers. Mrs. Armand Burt was assisted in serving by the Messrs. and Mesdames Sverre Aasen, Myron Larson, George Eld and Howard Ackley, Miss Charlotte Johnson, Donald Ackley, Miss Harriet Larson and Conrad John-stad and in the kitchen by Mr. and Mrs. Mads Sletteland, Mrs. Iver Johnstad, Mrs. Lloyd Mel by and the Misses Clara and Margaret Haralds-rud.1csIECsjriPlt;cacrCair
