The anniversary cake was threetiered and decorated with yellow roses and gold leaves.Granddaughter Phyllis Daniels. Ada. served the punch and another granddaughter. Mary McGuckin. Philadelphia. Pa., served the cake. Another granddaughter. Cindy Wilkes. Baltimore, Md., was in charge ofthe guest book.Guests were invited between2 and 5 p.m.Mr. and Mrs. Daniels weremarried in New Bethel Church, Bvng community, in 1917. She was Carrie Chandler before her marriage. They now reside on the Old Chahdler place, ninemiles northeast of Ada.Grandson Michael Meeks. Broken Arrow, also was present. Benton Daniels, now serving in the United States Army, stationed in Thailand, and granddaughter. Margaret McGuckin.
