Their son and daughters were hosts for the open house affair. Roly Daniels lives in the Latta community; Mrs. Jovce Meeks in Broken Arrow. Mrs. Lorene Wilkes. Baltimore, Md.. and Mrs. Flora McGuckin,Philadelphia. Pa.A gold and white color themewas carried out in the appointments.The refreshment table was covered with a handmade crochet white cloth over yellow linen and centered with a massive bouquet of yellow tea roses. The anniversary cake was three-tiered and decorated with yellow roses and gold leaves.Granddaughter Phyllis Daniels. Ada. served the punch and another granddaughter. Mary McGuckin. Philadelphia. Pa , served the cake. Another granddaughter. Cindy Wilkes. Baltimore. Md., was in charge ofthe guest book.Guests were invited between2 and 5 p.m.Mr. and Mrs. Daniels weremarried in New Bethel Church. Bvng community, in 1917. She was Carrie Chandler before her marriage. They now reside onthe Old Chahdler place, ninemiles northeast of Ada.Grandson Michael Meeks. Broken Arrow, also was present. Benton Daniels, now serving in the United States Army, stationed in Thailand, and granddaughter. Margaret McGuckin.
