Shearer Descendants Had Reunion RecentlyThe descendants of Mr. and Mrs. Sidney K. Shearer Sr. met June 22 at Port Mason Park for a family reunion. Hosts for the delicious fish fry were the families of the late Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Shearer Sr. They are Ray and Christine Shields. Billy and Ellen Shields, Natali. Nicki and Becky of Lake Whitney; Dr. Hugh Shearer. Jr. and Virginia Shearer. Mike and Nancy of San Antonio; Mrs. Carol Shearer; Donald and Regina Shearer. Christopher and Miranda of Ennis; Wilburn and Faye Shearer^ George and Pam Spiller, Gena and Shelly of Mason and Kris Lloyd of Austin.* Attending from Pampa were Oscar Shearer. Mrs. Irene Shearermd Mark. Mrs. Edrie Calvert. Jasonand John.• From Corpus Christi were: Harold and Iva Jean Shearer. Steve and Melissa Shearer. Steve and Cindy Japp. Melissa Maupin and Mark. Carrol and Marilyn Shearer and Peggy and Buddy Strauss.From Mason were: Pete Schmidt, Gordon Schmidt, Jim Dan Jordan, George M. and Betty Jo Branden-berger and Carl. Charles and Barbara Garner. Charla and Barry and Lee and Lucille Shearer;. Others were: Randy and Beverly Baker, Kody and Kaden of Brady and Sonya ShearerBode of Austin.Guests were Marie Allen and Jim! Sunday morning, several members ,of the families drove to the old Shearer place on the Uano River where they enjoyed seeing the old homestead and swimming.The nest reunion will be in two years in Mason.
