Menomonee, — As workmen employed by W, H, Harding of Colfax were engaged in digging down a mound along the highway near the M. [ Christianson farm, they unearthed I three skeletons, supposed to be Indian remains. # The bones were badly de* cayed. There are ^several similar 'mounds In the vicinity, and they are thought to have been prehistoric burial grounds.
