T.Celebrate Their Tenth Anniver’-.ssary With a Picnic.■Following the Dinner a 5piendid Fro- \ gram Was Presented. jThe lady Maccabees celebrated their ’ tenth anniversary Tuesday by holding 1 a picnic ia Grabner’s grove* just? east of Lawrence park. The ladies entertained their gentlemeu friends at dinner and a royal good time wag had by all. Following the noon meal the excellent program given below was presented :Vocal duet—Miss Flora and Wellie McKenzie.Recitation—Miss Eva Naylor.Duet—Mieses Flora and Mary McKenzie,Song—Flora and Eva Naylor.Duet—The Misses McKenzie.Recitation—Master Hamilton.Solo—Bruco Essig.Solo—Mrs, Weldrick.Character song—-Hazel Essig ■ and Jessie Townsend.Duet—Bruce Essig and Herbert Towrssnd*Recitation—Miss Edna Baker.Sang—Flora and Eva Naylor.Song—Misses Oram and Allan.Song—Mrs. Etta Townsend,Address—Lady Commander Mary James.After the program the ladies tried their hand at sack racing with splendid success. Mrs. C. B. Tripp was the first prize winner ana Mrs. Bert Briggs finished second best. Time 3:02Jlt;j'.This finished the day’s pleasure and the gentlemen are indebted to the committee in charge of the day’s sport for their feast.The committee in charge was: Chairman, Mrs. C, B.
