Following the dinner, an informal evening was enjoyed.Among the dinner guests were three members of the original wedding party: Miss Lena Aust-gen of Dyer; John Strudeman, brother of the groom; and Nick Austgen, the brides brother.Mr. and Mrs. Strudeman were married in Dyer at St. Joseph Church, on June 20, 1306, A mass of thanksgiving was said on the day of the anniversary, by the Rev. Donald Hughes, cousin of Mrs, Strudeman, at St, Jerome Church, Chicago, sMRS. STRUDEMAN is the former Margaret Austgen, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Austgen of Dyer, who were life-long residents of Lake County.
