Maronn Had Golden WeddingD•zed:ez.3Ssr/ebrHiWisHiMMtearfa7-attoinmg.icPatin101»t Mr. and Mrs. Louis Maronn e were hosts on Sunday at an open house at the St. Paul Lutheran ir church from 2 to 4 o’clock in the afternoon.A three tier decorated wedding cake centered the serving table with candles tied with gold bows and white lace and bouquets of red roses at either end. Adeline Maronn presided at the guest book which showed 95 guests registered. Assisting in serving the tray lunch was: Adeline and Margaret Maronn, Pam and Ann Zim-mermann, Ruth Smith and Verla Dobbrunz.Verla Dobbrunz and Pam Zim-mermann presented a piano duet and Pam Zimmermann, Sharon Kusserow and Connie Travis sang two hymns and was accompanied by Verla Dobbrunz on the piano. Rev. J. Zimmermann gave a talk, closing by singing “The Lord’s Prayer.”Mr. and Mrs. Maroon were born in Germany. Mrs. Maronn then Pauline Laabs came to this country in 1900. Mr. Maronn came over in 1903. They were married in Eldora July 5, 1905 by the late Rev. C. C. Guenther and have lived in Hardin county all these years. Mr. and Mrs. Maronn have four sons, Ernest of Union, Herbert, Emil and Vern of near Eldora. They have six grand children.Mr. and Mrs. Maronn received ^ many nice gifts.—O—LIVnth'S.in
