Ten children, forty-five grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren of the couple are living and practically all of them were gathered at the Steward home yesterday. The children are Mrs. Enos T. Huffman, Mrs. James Kahn, Mrs. Gideon Oldham,Mrs. Ralph Alexander, Mrs. Martha Moore, Mrs. Grant Armstrong, Mrs. John Malloy, Mrs. Thomas Tillison Mrs. Harry Arnold and Riley Steward.A sumptuous dinner was served for the guests at the noon hour and the day proved one continuous round of pleasure for all who participated in the celebration.“Uncle Sol” and Aunt Lydia were born in and have lived in Shelly County since their birth with the exception of a three years’ residence in Illinois. They are life long and prominent members of the M. E. Church and are the recipients of the love and esteem of all who have the pleasure of their acquaintance. Their married lives have been those of unalloyed hliss and “one sweet song.” IVJany handsome gifts were ^y showered upon them j^esterday.Eighty-five guests were present at the celebration. Among those from a distance were Mr. and Mrs. John Morrell, Mr. and Mrs. George Nul-ce liner, Mr. J. L, Huffman, Spencer of H^arrell, Wade Arnold, Miss Opal or Crosby and T. B. Carey, le Soloman Steward was born May to 9, 1832 and Lydia A. Steward July •j- 1, 1833. They are aged 7S and 77 y, years respectively.
