Haden, pastor of the Church of Christ, officiated at the ceremony.A reception was held at the home of the bridegroom’s grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Elery Peter, Beech Creek R.D.The bride is a 1977 graduate of Sugar Valley High School. The bridegroom attended Mill Hall High School.The couple will reside in Lamar after a honeymoon.CELEBRATE, ANNIVERSARY — Mr. and Mrs. Charles F. Kauffman recently celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary. They were married on June 21 1952. Third St., Lock Haven, celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary at a family dinner on June 18,1977.Mrs. Kauffman is the former Roberta Smith. The couple was married on June 21,1952.Kauffman is an instrument technician at Hammermill Paper Co. in Lock Haven. Mrs. Kauffman is employed by the Keystone Central School District.Attending the anniversary celebration were Fred Smith and Mrs. Alice Smith, of Lock Haven and Mr. and Mrs. George Culp * and daughters of Albuquerque, N.M.Mr. and Mrs. Kauffman are the parents of three children, Karen Susanne, a nurse at the Lock Haven Hospital; Charles Kauffman Jr., who will leave Aug. 18, 1977 for duty with the U.S. Navy, and Patricia J. who will attend Lock Haven State College in the fall.
