Mr. and Mrs. Newton L. Pressler “--3Warriors Mark Couple Note Twenty-Fifth AnniversaryOn Sunday, June 27, a Warriors Mark couple, Mr. and Mrs. Newtcn L.Pressler, celebrated their silver wedding anniversary. They attended church, accompanied by some members of their families following a family picnic, at their home they were honored with a surprise lawn party. The events were planned by their son and his wife, Mr. and Mrs, Lee N. Pressler of Port Matilda, R.D.The couple received gifts, congratulatory messages, and flowers, from over 65 guests.In the shade of a large tree, a table was set with an arrangement of pink carnations and white Fuji mums placed in an array of silver foliage. A crystal punch bowl and a three-tier anniversary cake, topped with an appropriate decoration of the numberal 25 in a silver heart. The cake was baked and decorated by her sister Mrs. Josephine R. Moore of State College.Refreshments were served to relatives and friends attending from Mount Union, Huntingdon, Tyrone, Brookville, State College, Pine Grove Mills, Port Matilda, Marengo, and Warriors Mark.Newton Pressler and Marjorie Rumberger were united in marriage* on June 30, 1940. Hie ceremony being performed in the Epworth Methodist Church, at Harrisburg, by the Rev. T. Max Hall, a former pastor of the Warriors Mark Methodist Church.Mrs. Pressler is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Rumberger of Warriors Mark. Pressler is the son of the late Newton L.
