The Dunkles are among the pioneer settlers of Snake Spring. Jacob Dunkle settled in the valley sixty-four yeara ago. He is a son of David Dunkle, a native of Gernuny-He is one of the most prominent farmers and respected citizens of the township in which he lives. On April 7,1S4Q, he married Mdsb Matilda Lee, daughter of George Lee, of Cumberland Valley. Fourteen children blessed this union, nine of whom arc living. Mr. Dunkle is eighty-three years old and his' wife seventy-eight. Among those who attended the reunion were relatives who live in several states of
