Elva Faurote, 81Elva Marie Faurote, 81, of 904 E. 11th St., Rushville, died at 6:40 a.m. Sunday. July 3, 1994 in Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.Born Sept. 30, 1912 in Westport, she was the daughter of Charles and India Pickett Ogden. She married Harold Faurote Aug. 7, 1937 and he preceded her in death in 1982. She was a member of the Rushville First Baptist Church and the Moose Lodge No. 867. She had worked at theRushville Glove Factory during the 1950's and 1960's. She had also worked at Admiral Corporation in Shelbyville from 1971-1977. She had lived at the Flatrock River Lodge since 1993. She had lived in Shelbyville since 1971 but had lived her early life in Rushville.Surviving are one brother: Tony Ogden of Rushville; one sister: Leah Sharp of Waldron; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one sister: Luella.Services are 4 p.m. Wednesday at East Hill Shrine Mausoleum with the Rev. R.E. Hawn officiating. Entombment is at the mausoleum. Visitation is after 3 p.m. Wednesday at the mausoleum.
