Joseph Millers H erf M) YearsMr, and Mrs, .Joseph Miller of 533 Elm St., Painesville, celebrated thnr golden wedding anniversary with a Mass at St Xnthonv's Church in Fairport where the couple were married on June 21, 1921, by the Rev. Emil Egner.Mrs. Miller is the former Elizabeth Ondus of Fairport. The couple are the parents of three and grandparents ofseven.The Rev. George Olejnyik was the celebrant of the anniversary Mass which was attended by the immediate family. Mr and Mrs. Dan Shula, who 50 years ago served the couple as best man and maid of honor, also attended.Following the ceremony a breakfast was held at Hellrie-gel’s Inn for the family and Rev. Olejnyik.On the .Saturday before the anniversary, Mrs. C.J. Alden,Mrs. Gordon Hammett and Ray Miller gave a buffet dinnerand reception in honor of their parents, at the K of C Hall.Over 150 friends and relatives helped to celebrate the spe-cia occasion. Guests from Painesville, Fairport, Perry,Gi.rnd River, Madison, Cleveland, Parma, Solon, and New York attended.Mr. Miller was employed by the Diamond Alkali Patrol Department before his retirement in 1964.
