District Attorney Takes a Bride.One of the pretsiest home weddings that has occurred in Janesville was held Thursday night when District Attorney Stanley G. Dunwiddie was married toMiss Gladys C. Heddles at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Stuart B. Heddles, on North Franklin St.The ceremony was performed by Rev. J. W. Laughlin, pastor of the First Presbyterian church, and was witnessed by nearly one hundred relatives and friends of the bride and groom.Miss Heddles made a charming picture gowned in white satin and carrying a shower bouquet of lillies of the valley as she entered the room where the ceremony was performed, leaning on the arm of her father, who gave her away.The home was beautifully decorated with asparagus and pink roses. Miss Beula Heddles, a cousin of the bride, was an attractive bridesmaid. She wore a pink crepe dress and carried a bouquet of pink sweet peas. Dr. F. W. Van Kirk of Janesville was best man.After the wedding a reception was held, after which the newly wedded couple left for an extended wedding tour. They will return about September first and will be at home at 441 Madison street.—Recorder.
