Court denies Kwosek appealELLSWORTH - The Wisconsin Supreme Court Friday upheld conviction of Ramon E. Kwosek in Pierce County.Kwosek was appealing a five-year prison term for endangering the life of others and a concurrent two-year term for false imprisonment.The two terms were ordered to run consecutively with a 25-year sentence Kowsek was previously serving for second-degree murder on a sentence imposed in 1958 in Trempealeau County.In the Pierce County case Kwosek was charged with entering the home of Norman Besker Oct. 2, 1970, and holding Besker, Besker’s brother and a friend at gunpoint. Kwosek fired a .22-caliber rifle and hit a wall in Besker’s home.
