The lad. son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Sterns, was the fifth generation of Sterns in 40 years to patronize Schultz1 shop. Previously served were Hiram Sterns, Vernon’s great-great grandfather; William Sterns, his great-grandfather; Albert Sterns, grandfather, and Edward Sterns, Vernon's father. To observe the occasion, Schultz gave the haircut free.
