A family reunion was held on Sunday afternoon at the Mill-stadt Fire Hall in honor of Edward F. Sparwasser, of Los Angeles, California, who is in Columbia for a short visit. Those, present were Mr. and Mrs. I George Sparwasser, Harry Sparwasser, Edwin Sparwasser, Mr.; and Mrs. Elmer Sparwasser and family, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Schneider, Dr. and Mrs. A. H. Hotz, Roy Sparwasser, MissGladys Ruff, all of Waterloo; Mr. and Mrs. Albert Altes, of Fults, Mr. and Mrs. William Mappes and I son, Carl, George Hoepfinger and daughter, Irma, Mr. and Mrs. John Rehling, Mr. and Mrs. Philip Sparwasser, all of Millstadt; Ed. G. Nolte, of East St. Louis, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Sparwasser, Miss Dolores Heutsch, Merle Sparwasser, Ira Kean, George Bauer, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Sparwasser and son, Bobby, all of Columbia.Mr. Sparwasser was born and raised near Columbia and later 1 resided at Belleville until 7 years ago when he left for California tomake his home there.
