Mrs. Lily Peltier, of 644 Isbister Street, Winnipeg celebrated her 81st birthday on June 23rd, 1981. On Sunday, June 21st, a family gathering was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Dauphinias of Beausejour, Manitoba.Mrs. Peltier was born in Harpcrville, Manitoba. She married Fred Peltier in 1921 and they fanned in the St. Charles district. Mr. Peltier was also a contractor, retiring in 1965. He passed away in 1970.Mrs. Peltier has ten children,Eugene, Arnold, Bazil and Audrey Foster all of Winnipeg; Ruby Dauphinias of Beausejour; Gertie Barron of Grosse Isle; John of Warren; Leona Dowling of Greenwood, Nova Scotia; Raymond of Edmonton; and Joe of Saskatchewan. She has 35 grand-children and 25 greatgrandchildren.Congratulatory messages and pins were received from federal, provincial, and civic government officials.
