lew»La5Siea,11reto11fr--'jh)fpeFL“IT11t,ItdoshnChanged Plans For Rain Bared0aiiraeiI90ttfs1fILltLIn the event of sabotage in the form of rain, the following schedule for the Independence Day Carnival has been released by Headquarters and Service Group Special * Services:—1) Unit exhibits will be canceled, with the exception of the 385th Medical Battalion’s First Aid Station, which will be moved to the banker’s Club, from the carnival lot.2) Side shows will be moved to the Banker’s Club. A small part of the Japanese show will be dropped due to the nature of the acts. The side shows are presently on the carnival lot. ,3) As many of the concessions operated by service club personnel as physical set-up permits, will be moved tp the Banker’s Club. Concessions, wjiich cannot be moved will be canceled, and remain on the lot.4) Unit exhibits, baseball gamesand a concert by -Kobe's 15th AGFBand will be canceled at HibiyaPark South.% *r r . *• ■5) In case of rain or the incompletion of the rebuilding of Tokyo Bowl, the Japanese stage show scheduled for the bowl will be held at Hibiya Hall.6) The couples dance at the Moonlight Gardens will be rescheduled for the , Banker’s Club.■7) The fireworks and concert by the 746th AP Band will be canceled at Meiji park.8) The Tokyo-Occupation Leagues’ baseball game at Meiji park will be postponed until 8 p.m. July 5.9) No re-scheduling for the Ernie Pyle’s Independence Day show will be made. «Carnival ScheduleA. Four ruffles and flourishes. The national anthem.10:05 a.m.—Troops pass in review.B. Recreational Activities following Parade and Review:a. 1-10 p.m.—Exhibits. side shows, concessions, and miniature train ride on carnival lot, adjacent to Imperial hotel, Avenue A.b. Hibiya Park—Free softball games, with music furnished by 15th AGJT Band, Kobe, 1:30 p.m. TIS vs Navy, 3 p.m. 71st Signal vs 64th Engineers, 6:30 p.m. GHQ vs CPC, 8:30 p.m. CCD vs 96th MRU.c. Ernie Pyle theater: Historical pageant depicting American Independence. On stage at Ernie Pyle 7:30 p.m., July 4 only. Admission free.d.
