Log Cabin IdylOf Child BrideComes to CloseZANESVILLE — (U.R) —Theidyllic love in a log cabin of which 36-year-old Emma Sue Shultz dreamed when she married Charles Shipman, 74, lasted nearly 10 months.The bride’s romance ended, she charged, ivhen her husband threatened her life, cursed her constantly, failed to provide properly and began to drink continuously.Her petition for a divorce was on file in Zanesville common pleas court today. It was filed through her mother. Mrs. Lulu Shipman, who ts married to a brother of Charles Shipman.Emma Sue and Shipman were married last August by Rev. W. W. Thompson, pastor of the Negro Fire Baptised Holiness and Church of God of America, after several pastors had refused to perforin the ceremony because of the couple’s difference In age. They separated In May.The child bride and her husband set up housekeeping in a log cabin in the Muskingum Valiev hills south of Zanesville.
