Tilyar Hagen'sSir-;mark 50 yearsOpen house was held Sunday in Grace Church in honor of the golden wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Tilyar Hagen of Morris, who were married July 2, 1921 in Morris by the late Rev. T. Aarrestad.Sponsors were their three children, Mr. and Mrs. Loren Hagen of Round Lake, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Hoge of Morris and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth (Marilyn) Thompson of SaukVillage,All grandchildren participated: Barbara Hoge and Mrs. Althina Hagen cut the cake; Martha Hoge poured coffee; Laura Hagen poured punch; Terry, Larry and Clark Hagen were in charge of the guest book; Glen and Scott Thompson were at the gift table.; James Hoge and Mark Thompson assisted at the serving table.Three-hundred guests attended from New Jersey, Wis., Iowa, Chicago, Joliet, Aurora, Peoria, Sauk Village, Minooka, Newark, Lisbon and Morris.Mrs. Sadie Gunnerson and Mrs. Vernon Kaldheim decorated the churchbasement.Assisting in the kitchen were Mr. Blanchard Wix, Mrs. Alfred Anderson, Mrs. Tilman Anderson, Mrs. RussellHalkyard, Mrs. HerbertDavidson, Mrs. Earl O’Brien and Mrs. Lee Hinchliff.
