Martin of Lake City were married. They formed at Lake City until they moved to a farm near Terrll li IBIS. Later Mr. Davfs retired and they moved Into Terrll. He served as a county trustee and on the Terrll town council.He Is survived by his widow, three sons. Walter e. Davis of Terri. Cecil E. Davis of Oklahoma City, and Everett E. Davis of Spirit Lake, one daughter. Mrs. Eva Simpson of Spirit Lake, four grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren.One infant son, Franklin, twin sisters and one brother preceded him In death.*tjie Spirit Lake. George Rupp of Cherokee held a surprise party for the Rupps in honor of their 45th wedding -anniversary. The picnic dinner was Held Sunday noon at Francis Sites at the summer cottage of Mr. and Mrs. Norbert Rupp. There were 53 children, grandchildren and close relatives at the picnic. All but three of the Rupp's 12 children were there. Those unable to attend were Father Urban Rupp. S. M..of Dayton, O.; Sister Mary Catherine of Detroit. Mich., and Sister Mary Christina of Omaha, Neb.Among those present were Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Rupp and family. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Rupp and family, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Rupp. Mr. and Mrs, P. P. Kohns 8r.d Lawrence Kohns. all of Cherokee; Mr. and Mrs. Carl Rupp and family and Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester Rupp and family, all of Cloghorn: Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Rupp and family of Mar. cus.
