The wedding will take place Sunday r.ight. July 4. at the home of the bride.A delightful surprise was given Mr Joe Rodgers June 13. when seme forty relatives and friends gathered in his heme to spend the day. The occasion was his 59th birthday anniversary Each family brought dinner and at the noon hour the feust was spread on long tables under shade trees in the \ard. All of his children were present except one daughter. Mrs. Willie Leggett. of Waco. Those present were: Mrs. Erma Rodgers and daughters. Audrey and Erline; Bethel Rodgers: Mr ar.d Mrs. Homer Rodgers and son. Leslie: Mrs. Myrtle Locklln and littledaughter; and the children who are still at home. Roy. Marvin. George. Lula and Joseph. Other relatives and friends were Mrs. Geo. Rodgers and daughter. Isobel; Mr. and Mrs. Lee Rodgers and son. Murray Edgar; Mi and Mrs. Willie Rodgers and children Pete.
