Here all of the children were born and two of them, Lee and Carol, still resideat the homestead.Favorite hymns of the family were sung by J. E. Dubose of Austin and Mr, and Mrs. Allen Hunt of Kerrville.A delicious dinner was served at noon, when barbecue, pies, salads and other viands were spread in picnie style. Members of the family who were present were Carol Byas, his wife and children; Lee Byas; Mrs. Mae Byas DuBose, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. DuBose and family, (Mrs. DuBose was Eula Byas) all of Hunt; Mrs. Clara Byas Hunt, Mr. and Mrs. Allen Hunt and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. G. L. Rieheson, (Iva Byaa); Mr. and Mrs, R. B. Nichols and children (Mrs. Nichols was Vera Byas) all of Kerrville; Rev. and Mrs. R. S. Walker, (Ellen Byas) of San Antonio and Mr. and Mrs. J, E. Dubose, (Pearl Byas) of Austin.
