ANNIVERSARIESClaude and WilmaSonnierMr. and Mrs. Claude of Port Acres celebrated their50th wedding anniversaryJan. 23 with a family dinner at Post Oak Grill.The celebration was hosted by their children and their spouses.Claude Sonnier and Wilma Lavergne were married Jan. 22,1949 in Lake Charles, La.Their children are Brenda Guillory of Groves, Clyde Sonnier of Port Arthur, Lynton Sonnier of Mont Bel vieu, Freda Schenkewitz of Pascagoula, Miss, and Karen Henley ofLumberton.They have 14 grandchildrenand two great-grandchildren.
