No. SM84PUBLIC NOTICE .The Santa Ana Unified School District will be submitting an application for funding under the Emergency School Aid Act, Title VH of Public Law 92-318, as amended by P.L. 93-380. In compliance with requirements found in 45 C.F.R. 1E5, I District Student Advisory Committees have been established in order to provide community input, to monitor the grant management and to, approve necessary grant amendments and new* proposals, fbe existing committees where membership rosters are given, below serve the present Pilot Grant and will continue to serve the proposed Basic Grant The basic thrust of the proposed Basic Grant application will be that of providing direct services to all students at the participating schools which focus on developing each students’ English language skills to their potential and providing comprehensive guidance services. Theseprograms are in line with the basic goal of the Emergency Sdiool Aid Act whioi is toreduce the deleterious effects of racial I isolation and thus promote the develop* 1inent of more efficient citizens. In order toprovide all citizens with an opportunity to express their ideas pertaining to these proposals, a Public Hearing will be held on Thursday, February 5,1976 at 5:00 p.m. in 1the Board Room located at 1405 French St,Santa Ana, California. The public is invited to attend. .
