Zemaneks Have Golden WeddingSt. Ansgar—Mr. and Mrs. F. J, Zemanek observed their 50th wedding anniversary Jan. 28 with a. dinner for relatives at the Methodist church parlors and open house from 2 to 4 p. m. at the church parlors. There were 150 friends and relatives present.Mr. and Mrs. Zemanek have lived on their farm northeast of St. Ansgar since their marriage, Anna Komberetz was married to Ferdinand Zemanek at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Anton Komberetz, Jan. 30, 1901, Their- attendants were Josephine Vaeha, now Mrs. R. E, Peshak of Bridgeport, W. Va., and the late Arnie Heiny of Northwood. They established their home on the farm where they now live, owned at that time by his father.The Zemaneks were childhoodneighbors as the 2 families livedonlj'' i mile apart in the SpringValley, community near St. Ansgar, Mr. and Mrs. Zemanek have two daughters, Mrs. Glen Leit-telle • of Thornton and Mrs. Vincent Roach of Ames who, with their families, were present. Firs. Zemanek has 2 sisters, Mrs. Emma Zemey of Mason City and Mrp. Barbara Horsefall of Wa~. terioo.'Mr. Zemanek has one sister, Mrs. Antoinette Bohack, of Iowa City.
