KATHERINE ANNMUNDT —r~Suddenly on Friday, January 23, 1987 at the Selkirk and District General Hospital, Katherine Ann Mundt, aged 50 years, dearly beloved wife of Robert Mundt, of East Selkirk,Manitoba. ESjwjT V-Katherine was born in Selkirk on November 20. 1936 and grew up in the East Selkirk district. She took her Psychiatric Nursing training at the Selkirk Mental Health Centre-and following her marriage she worked for a time at the Whitemouth and Kelsey Hospitals. She later settled in East Selkirk to raise a family and was a loving and dedicated wife and mother.Left to mourn her passing and to cherish her memory, besides her husband is her son Paul of Winnipeg and daughter Carolyn Grieve and son-in-law Glenn, also of Winnipeg; her mother Mrs. Caroline Chanas and three brothers, John Chanas and sister-in-law Mary, Paul Chanas and sister-in-law Adele, all of East Selkirk, Mike Chanas and sister-in-law Sharon of Selkirk and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her father Dmytro in 1969.Funeral services will be held in the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 210 Mam Street, Selkirk on Tuesday, January 27 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Terry Throndson officiating. Interment will follow in the Lutheran Cemetery,Mapleton.Her pallbearers will be Carl Chanas, Ernest Beck, Mel Grieve, Steve Bilinski, Peter King and Ralph Smolinski.Friends may call for viewing at the Gilbart Funeral Chapel on Monday evening from 7 to 8 p.m. or at the church prior to the service.In lieu of flowers, if friends so wish, donations may be made to the Heart Foundation, 301-352 Donald Street, Winnipeg R3B2H8.
