Aurands HonoredOn AnniversaryA family gathering was held last Saturday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel W. An rand. 612 West 16th st.. in observance of the Au-rands’ 50th wedding anniversary.Samuel W. Aurand and Alma C. Burkett were married Jan. 25, 1D10 at the home of the bride's parents. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Burket, Sinking Valley.The cereinony was performed by the Rev. L, M. Lewis, pastor of Arch Spring Presbyterian Church. To this union were born three children, Mrs. John Summers, Tyrone Mrs. Robert Vogt. Conyngharft. and Li. Col. Paul Aurand, Colorado Springs. Col. There are six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.Mr. and Mrs. Aurand have been residents of Tyrone for the past 43 years. He Is a former employe of Bayer Bros., Inc., retiring in June of 1957 after 40 years service.
