The event will mark the Hebbs* 70th w edding anniversary, which will be Friday, it was announced by two daughters here, Miss Wilma Heeb and Miss Frelt;la Heeb.The former Miss TilliePobst and Heeb were married at Oran in 1807; both were members of pioneer Scott County families. She is the daughter of Mr .and Mrs. William Pobst, and he, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Heeb.Mr and Mrs. Heeb farmed in the Chaffee vicinity and it was a portion of their land which became a part of the original site of Chaffee. Heeb was a member of the first city council and owned the town's first meat market. In 1930 theymoved to Harrisburg where Heeb was associated with his sons m the cultivation of rice until his retirement in 1958.Ileeb is 93 years old and his wife, 88. They have fuur sons, ft - u i daughters, 11 . raudchil-(lien and nine great-gi andchil-dren. In addition to the Misses Freda and Wilma Heeb, theaughters are Mrs. William S.O'Baiuion of Chaffee and Mrs. Herbert Emeilck of Memphis,Tenn. The sons are Loy Heeb of Chaffee, Hay inond Heeb, Alfred (“Dode) Heeb, and Clarence (“Shorty) Heeb ofH i i i ishiirg .
