Wilkenings To Note Golden AnniversarymmwmmmmmmmmmmmMr. and Mrs. WilkeningMr. and Mrs. R. 0. Wilkening, State Center, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house Sunday, Feb. 2 at St. Paul Lutheran Church. Hosting the event from 2 to 4 p.m. will be their children, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Wilkening of State Center and Mr. and Mrs. Don Lawthers of Marshalltown, and their grandchildren.Ray Wilkening and Angeline Pfaritz were married Feb. 4,1925 in the Pfantz home in State Center. They have resided all their lives in the State Center community, where he has been in the oil business since 1923.All friends and relatives are invited to attend the golden wedding anniversary celebration. The couple requests no gifts.
