Emory, federal mediator.He said last night:“We’ve made such an amount of progress in our negotiations that I’m hopeful for a full settlement of the matter.”Representatives of Empire Z nc and the striking local of the Mine, Mill and Smelter Workers union 'Ind. / have been meeting here with federal conciliators since Monday.Efforts are being made again to end the 15-month strike.Emory said some tentative agreements were reached in yesterday's session, but whether they 'carry through depends on satisfactory completion of the entire contract.The negotiations continued today.
