Morach and Miss Louisa Sauer, were united In marriage. The ceremony waa performed by Rev. Mr Krukman, of Sandwich, at the Andrew Sauer home in Freedom township, in the presence of about eighty guests. Some of these guests are probably living now, but the only ones know to be alive, aside from the bride and groom is Mr. Mors ch’s sister. Mrs. Minnie Duerlnger. of Elgin, Mrs. Chas. Zimmerman, of Sac City, la.; John Sauer, of Lombard.For many years Mr and Mrs. Morach lived on the farm south of Earivillc, where they worked hard, reared their family and gained the confidence and respect of their neighbors and friends.Twenty years ago they left the farm and purchased a home in Earl-vllle, where they have lived quietly, dose to their children, and surrounded by every comfort they desired. Years ago they were members and staunch supporters of the German M. B. church south of town After organisation waa abandoned because of dwindling membership, they united with the EarivtUe Methodist Episcopal church, and have been just as earnest and zealous in attendance and in promoting its interests.They have given support to every worthwhile movement for the betterment of Ear!vllle and community during all these years. That they should be held in high esteem by all who have the pleasure of their acquaintance. la but a natural consequence of their exemplary and upright life. „Among those present were Mr. and Mrs. W, C. Pratt and Mr and Mrs.Earl Batterham and two children, Mrs. Pmtt and Mrs. Batterham being daughter* of Mr and Mr*. Morach; Mr. and Mrs William Engelhart and children, of Earlville; Mr and Mrs. Gabriel Jacobson. Mr and Mrs Weeley Snyder, Fred Snyder. Mr. and Mrs. Homer McDole and Mrs Katie Sturham. of DeKalbIn addition to the two daughters mentioned above, there are two sons E S Morach and O E Morsch. of| Denver, and a daughter, Mrs Carrie j Bish. of Geltner. Neb. These three could not be present last Sunday, much to the regret of allMr Morsch was born In Freedom township, in a log house, about ten miles south of Earlville There have been so many changes and sales of farms, that the exact locatiqn of this log house Is not known to Mr Morsch. Mrs Morsch was born In Northville township, over southeastof Leland, so that it will be seen these estimable people are both natives of LaSalle countyThey have received many tokens of friendship and congratulations on having traveled life’s Journey together so long in happiness.
