At 8 o’clock Solemn High MasB was. celebrated at St. Boniface ehuroh by Rev. Father Pell and many friends of the bride . ca and groom were present. After the | service, the home was thrown open to friends and neighbors and Joyous pleasure reigns supreme, Mr. and Mrs. Stadler recelvlug their guests with welcome greeting that testifies a love of association and friendship.Fifty years ago at a little hamlet in Bnxony, Germany, a country lad and a blushing comely lass stood before the minister of God and exchanged the solemn vows that'united their destinies and made them man and wife. Then they were rich only in eaoh other's love—a love whose flame burns brighter to-day at the oioae of fifty years of wedded life, than on that eventful day when they faced the world without money, but with good health, and now they . have reached the evening of life with toiSFoia comfortable competency and can look forward to the enjoyments of comfort and peace In the remaining years of life.Mr. and Mrs. Stadler have been residents of Manitowoc county forty five years Leaving their native laud iu 1866, they came to Ainer-lo tjand Wisconsin settling at Two Rivers, where they continued to reside a uuinber of yearB and then removed to Neahota. Thirteen years ago they took up their home in this city, where th y have since remained. Mr Wtadler has been actively engaged in business since coming here, as a mason con tractor and possesses a wide acquaintance in the city, being held iu high eBteem by all who know him. He is 76 yeais of age while his wife has reached ( 73, yet to ku w them a* they grpet friends today One would scarcely be- . lleve this true. Time has dealt kind- j4 ly with them and' youthful spirits uul and happy companionship bid® the age.
