Klasi were honored with open house in their home Dec. 31 for their golden wedding anniversary. Hosts were their daughtei* and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Crane of Fedora.Preceding the open house, a dinner was served to the honored couple and their daughter' and family at the Town House Cafe here.Participating in the program during the open house were Doyle Royce, and Arlen Crane of Fedora, Mrs. Oscar Rempher of Menno, Keith McDaniel ofTo MarryMitchell and Rev. William Un-rau,Assisting at the reception were Mrs. Keith McDaniel of Mitchell, Mrs. Oscar Guthmiller and Joyce Mettler of Menno, Doyle and Larry Crane of Fedora, Mrs. Harland Danielson of Viborg, Mary Olson of Artesian, Mrs,. Russell E. Olson, Mrs. Elton Schempp and Miss Earla Langland.Christine Edelman and Edward T. Klasi were married Dec. 27, 1917 at Olivet in the Evangelical Church parsonage. They have lived in the Menno and Freeman area all their married lives. They have five grandchildren and three great grandchildren, all present for the anniversary event.The honored couple served a buffet supper in the evening to the immediate family and to Rev. and Mrs Unrau.
