AnnouncementAt the annual meeting of the stockholders of The Joplin Globe Publishing Company, held in the offices of The Globe yesterday morning, the following directors wereelected for the ensuing year:A. H. Rogers, H. C. Rogers. J. A. Cragirf, H. C. Murphy, Samuel McReynolds, 0. S. Picher; W. J, J. Leffen, Charles Schifferdecker^md William Houk.Officers were elected as follows: A. H. Rogers, president and business manager; H. C. Murphy, vice president; J. A. Cragin, treasurer; Miss Ava Lopp, secretary. Mr. D. C. Morris of Webb City, who has been in Mr. Rogers’ employ for several years, was appointed assistant business manager.The present stockholders of The Globe Publishing Company are: A. H. Rogers, H. C. Rogers. Paul N. Davey, Samuel McReynolds, Mrs. Anna Gfegg, John A Cragin. W. J. L Leffen; Hj:. Murphy. O. S. Picher, William Houk. Jesse Starr,*Wilbur A. Myers, Joseph Schulte, H. H. McNeal, Charles Schiffer-decker, Gilbert Barbee, Thomas Barbee, the Matthew George estate, Mrs. Lutie Lawson and Charles T. Melloan.An announcement of the policies of the new ownership will be found on page 4.
