per.Coroner W. H. McGrew, has returned a verdict of “murder at the hands of unknown persons,”in Maple’s death. He expressed the belief, however, that the murder would le solved soon.According to Dr. John Maple, the dead man’s brother, the vice-president had received several letters treatening his life. Several of the letters said to straighten out the affairs in case you are “bumped off” according to the brother.Rolinger has been placed in jail under $10,000 bond. Thomas D. Barr, deputy state banking commissioner, said he would ask for a receiver for the Shelburn bank.
