George R. Mayer, chairman of the board and president of Erie County Bank, reported at the annual shareholders’ meeting last week that total assets, deposits, and earnings before security gains and losses reached new highs.Total assets at year-end reached $78 million, and increase of $13 million or nearly 2ft percent over 198ft Total deposits were in excess of $62 million for a gain of 14.8 percent over a year ago.The following directors were reelected for 1981:George R.
