Dear Editor: #I wish to express the appreciation of the Recreation Lagoon committee to each and everyone that has helped to bring ice skating back to Wellsville. The cooperation has been wonderful in making the Lagoon, located on West Dyke Street a success.Thanks to Otis Eastern and their drag line and operator, Town and Village crews, Herman Marshall and Air Preheater for their contributions, Ed Fisher and Abe Crance for their help too. Thanks also go to the Water Light Department for furnishing lights.Our thanks to the Wellsville Volunteer Fire Companies for their help in smoothing the ice on those cold nights, also to George Harris, Sr. and George Creot for the loan of their snow plows.Chairman Richard Embser wishes to thank, the above named peor pie and all the volunteers that have helped to clean the ice after each snowfall.Thanks to anyone whose name may have been left 6ff our list as we are proud of the way you have all helped to make skating possible.Recreationally yours,1 Harry G.
