Edith B.BELOIT/JANESVILLE—Edith B. Had*, age 85, of 545 Public Ave. #323, died Sat., Jan. 15, 2000, at Cedar Creel Health Care Center, Janesville. She was born Aug. 25, 1914, in Fond chi Las, W1, the daughter of Walter and Retha(Leet) Hattett. Edith had been a Beloit/Janesville resident since 1954, comtng from Jefferson. She married Olin Hake March 2S, 1925; he died Oct. 24, 1970. Edith was a member of LKmff Christian Fellowship Church, Beloit. She was vary devoted to her family and church and enjoyed playing vtettn and singing for the church.Survivors tnetade a son, John (Rhonda) Hake of Illinois; a daughter, Sharon (Douglas) Daugherty of Juliette, GA; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchHdren; a sister, Creal Marr of Janesville; nieces, nephews; other relatives; and a special friend, Betty Church of Rockton, IL. In addition to her husband and parents, Edith was preceded in death by a son, David Hake; a grandson, Jim Scott; 4 sisters; and a brother.•Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tues., Jan. 18,2000, at LIBERTYCHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP CHURCH, Beloit, with Revs. Jeremy Weathers andMark Chauncey co-officiating. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at the church. SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME, Janesville, is handling arrangements.
